Pressure relief valves
Description
Pressure relief valves are used as safety valves to limit the pressure in a system to a maximum value.
Alternatively – but less advantageously – the DBV can also be used as a ‘pressure regulator’ by constantly discharging an excess volume flow. Thermal relief valves are pressure relief valves that prevent an increase in pressure in closed systems due to any temperature input.
