Bistable valves
Description
Bistable valves are directional control valves (piloted or solenoid-operated) in which both switching positions can be stably adopted by means of a detent. The valve is held in the last switching position and the solenoid can be de-energised.
They are also known as pulse-controlled valves; the (last) switching position is held without being powered.
