Differential pressure switches
Description
Differential pressure monitors compare the pressure in 2 chambers and switch a directional control valve if the pressure exceeds/falls below a preset differential pressure.
If the differential pressure to be monitored returns to the standard range, the differential pressure switch switches back to its initial state. They are used in the by-pass of larger valves to monitor the pressure difference ‘upstream to downstream’, but can also trigger a flushing process in filters as a clogging indicator.
