Bistable valves

Description

Bistable valves are directional control valves (piloted or solenoid-operated) in which both switching positions can be stably adopted by means of a detent.

They are also known as pulse-controlled valves, which change their switching position by means of a ‘pulse’ and can then hold their last switching position without being powered.
