Pilot operated valves
Description
Directional control valves are used to control a volume flow (e.g. P->A for 2/2 or P->A // A->T for 3/2). If the valve is actuated, it changes its switching position.
If the valve is controlled by the actual hydraulic medium, it is referred to as a pilot operated valve. It is also possible to select a secondary control medium, e.g. air or oil.
